Nursing Philosophy
I believe in a holistic approach to healthcare that integrates traditional nursing practices with time spent outdoors. This philosophy prioritizes fostering well-being through camping trips and hikes, especially for those in underrepresented communities, who may have barriers to both healthcare and the great outdoors.
Core Values
Equity in Healthcare: I advocate for culturally competent care that addresses the unique needs of underserved communities, including overcoming language, transportation, and financial barriers.
Partnership with Nature: I view patients as active participants in their healthcare journey, collaborating with them to develop personalized plans of care that incorporate prescribed medical doctrine from their PCPs and outdoor/nature experiences as appropriate. I believe access to green spaces and nature-based activities promotes physical and mental well-being.
