Biography.
After living, studying, and working in such places as Malta and India, I returned home to Virginia to work as a nonfiction editor, history consultant, and instructor of World History, Western Civilizations, and U.S. History at Tidewater Community College. More recently, I became a registered nurse with a focus on cardiac health. In other words, I do something I absolutely love on a daily basis. Reviews.
"Makes you feel like you're in the moment that she is lecturing about. Wonderful experience."
"I wish that she was teaching MORE classes that I could fit into my schedule. I've gone out of my way to take her over the semesters."
"This is my third time taking this teacher for a class and I absolutely love her. She is one of the best history teachers I've had so far. She thoroughly knows the things she teaches us so much so that she even gives fun details about certain people and events that I'm sure most others don't even know."
"I feel like anyone who enrolls in this class, whether they are history buffs or not, will be able to succeed because of her excellent teaching style. You can tell she really loves history."
"I loved this class and this teacher. Historically, I have not found history classes to be accurate or fun for that matter...until this class. Many thanks to our instructor and her format of delivery to enhance our understanding and learning of the important stuff..."
"She has high expectations for students which encourages us to study and work hard. Her grading is extremely fast. She knows her history and her explanations exceed the information that is given to us in our books."
